Biraj Pradhan
Area Director
A Fellow chartered Certified accountant with an MBA degree, Biraj Pradhan is a passionate toastmaster and currently a freelancer with two decades of experience in private sectors. He is a specialist in NFRS and Advance Excel. Currently he is a consultant at UNDP for Biodiversity Investment for the Private Sector in Nepal. At Toastmasters he has served as the Charter President of Professionals Toastmasters Club and is currently the Area Director of Area 3, Division O, District 41 for the year 2020/21. COVID-19 pandemic has changed his hiking and physical socialising hobbies to listening to inspirational stories and volunteering for a cause.
Aastha Shrestha
Area Program Quality Director
The Area Program Quality Director for Area O 2, Division O for the term 2020/21, TM Aastha is an ardent toastmaster since 2018. Her home club is Laxmi Bank Toastmasters Club where she is currently serving as the Vice- President Public relations of the club. According to her, toastmasters is platform that not only allows you to learn and develop the communication and leadership skills but also a place where you can connect and collaborate. A banker by profession, she has been associated with Laxmi Bank since 2016, and works in the Risk Management Unit of the Bank. With a career in risk management and data analysis, her other interests include photography, Travelling and is a bibliophile.
Kriti Panth
Area Club Growth Director
TM Kriti is the Club Growth Director (CGD) of Area O2 for the term 2020-21. Ever since she joined Toastmasters on September 2019, she has been a passionate toastmaster at her home club, Professionals Toastmasters Club, and beyond. TM Kriti is also the Secretary at her home club for the term 2020-2021. She is a knowledge enthusiast and a self declared life long learner and believes Toastmasters helps in both of these areas by providing opportunities to wear multiple hats. Professionally, TM Kriti is the Director of Business Development at Adguru Advertising— an out of home advertising agency. She is also a professional content writer, TESOL trained English teacher and mentor. As a third culture kid she is multilingual and multicultural and likes to explore different cultures, cuisines and destinations.
Samir Dhungana
Area PR Manager
TM Samir Dhungana, the PR Manager for Area O2 for the term 2020-21, joined Professionals Toastmasters Club in 2020. He is currently social media manager of his club.
Professionally, he is a marketing guy with work experience of 20 years in marketing field starting from Prisma Advertising under guidance of DTM Ranjit Acharya to Chinese mobile brand Gionee and also lubricant industry (BPS Petroleum). Currently he is at River Edge Freight serving as Deputy Country Manager. His hobbies include photography and sports.
Saswat Karki
Area Secretary
The Secretary for Area O 2, Division O for the term 2020/21, TM Saswat is a toastmaster since 2019. His home club is Laxmi Bank Toastmasters Club. According to him, Toastmasters is a stage to build the confidence level, groom up the personality and grow as an individual in honing the leadership skills.
Professionally, a purposeful banker by choice and working under the department of Human Resources and responsible for learning and development of the organization. Also, he is beyond the banking industry. A youth activist, motivational speaker and writer. Additionally, he is a recipient of Asian Youth Inspiration Award 2018 and US Embassy Youth Council 2017/18. He aspires to progress and believes in the fact of being limitless.
Pramita Shrestha
Area Treasurer
TM Pramita Shrestha, Treasurer for Area O2 for the term 2020-21. She joined Dhulikhel Toastmasters Club in 2019. She is serving the club as a treasurer and at the same time working with her club mates to conduct the club meetings successfully. She feels that the most interesting role in a toastmasters meeting is that of a table topic master.
She is a Public Health Professional and currently works at the Department of Public Health of Kathmandu University School of Medical Sciences, Dhulikhel Hospital. After getting into this field, She has enriched her experience and skills to work with the all tiers of reached and unreached community. She enjoys capturing their stories and learning from them.
