Prashant Shrestha
Area Director
Competent Communicator Toastmaster Prashant Shrestha is Area O1 Director, Division O, District 41, Toastmasters International for the term 2020-21. He is also the past president of Himalaya Toastmasters Club and recipient of Agile and President’s Distinguished Area Director for the term 2019-2020. Professionally, he works in the field of communication and marketing and enjoys drafting stories and creating visuals to support the representing cause. He is a fervent self-learner and an avid reader with a keen interest in environmental sustainability. His recent entrepreneurial ventures include energy saving home lighting systems and hydroponics gardening.
Prashamsa Rijal
Area Program Quality Director
Toastmaster Prashamsa Rijal is the Area PQD of Area O1 and the Vice President of Public Relations at Himalaya Toastmasters Club. She has been an active member since 2018. She is currently doing her undergraduate in KUSOM. She likes to watch movies, keep journal and take flat lay images. She loves organizing interiors and playing basketball.
She is still figuring about “the thing” that she wants to do in her life but something she is sure about is to keep taking chances and having fun. She is currently getting her feet wet in the corporate world of finance and is an intern at Nepal Bank Ltd. She believes that one should do a certain thing only it sparks joy.
Raju Maharjan
Area Club Growth Director
Toastmaster Raju Maharjan is a member since 2012. He started this journey from Himalaya Toastmasters Club where he has served as a Treasurer and VP Membership. He played an instrumental role in formation of his current home club Sanima Bank Toastmasters Club and is now serving as Vice President of Membership there.
In his own words, Toastmaster Raju says that this community is a family of positive minded circle that supports one to grow professionally and socially through path of communication and leadership roles.
Professionally he is a banker since 2010 and is currently serving as the Branch Manager of Sanima Bank at Maharajgunj Branch. His interests are Music, Nature, Travels, Outdoor sports.
Rejisha Shrestha
Area PR Manager
TM Rejisha is the PR Manager for Division O1 for the term 2020-21. A passionate toastmaster since 2019, her home club is Himalaya Toastmasters Club.
Professionally, TM Rejisha is a recent graduate is working as a Business Development Officer at Lone Tree Marketing and is constantly stepping out of her comfort zone to find ways to improve herself.
A booklover she says traveling drives fire to her soul and a slice of pizza hurt nobody!
Anushka Shrestha
Area Secretary
TM Anushka is the Secretary for the executive committee of Area 1, Division O for the term 2020-21. A recent but ardent toastmaster since March 2020, her home club is SAIM Toastmasters Club (South Asian Institute of Management), where she currently serves as the Vice President- Education. She is a toastmaster because she wants her audience to give her their undivided attention for longer than half a minute. A recent under-graduate in Economics from the University of North Carolina – Greensboro, TM Anushka is an MBA student at South Asian Institute of Management, where she is currently the class representative for the Class of 2020-2022. Professionally inclined towards international relations and human resource management, hanging out with her would not lead to a trekking trip to Langtang but it might lead to discovering new places to eat at.
Binay Dangol
Area Treasurer
Binay began his Toastmasters journey from 2017 when he joined Himalaya Toastmasters Club. Ever since he has led many roles in the community and has also served as a Treasurer of his home club. He considers Toastmasters to be an exciting platform that helped him to excel both personally and professionally. He believes it has also helped him to reach out new people and to help grow his professional network. On the work side, he is Head of Sales Project at NCell since 2014. His hobbies include traveling and trekking.
