Division O, District 41, Toastmasters International announced the winners of INVICTUS 2020, on 28 September 2020 at a Grand Finale Event that was broadcasted live from Janata Television HD from 6-7 pm. The winners of this video speech challenge were announced in two categories: Toastmasters and Non-Toastmasters. The winner of INVICTUS 2020 from the Toastmasters category was Toastmaster Bijaya Mishra and from the Non-Toastmasters category was Ms. Rinki Tibrewal. The winners are going to receive annual membership fee of Toastmasters International sponsored by Division O, District 41, Toastmasters International, a gift hamper worth 30k each from Skin Arts Aesthetics, Shopping Voucher from 7 O’Clock Bakery Café, Pulchowk, Gift Hamper from Mates Premium (For Toastmasters category) and Gift Hamper from Chya Pasa (For Non-Toastmasters Category).

Apart from this, Ms. Reeva Khanal and Ms. Yubragee Dangal, two minor entrees in the challenge, won Rising Star Award for demonstrating stellar public speaking skills in their video and were awarded a shopping voucher from 7 O’Clock Bakery Café, Pulchowk.

The Grand Finale Event of INVICTUS 2020 also included a discussion on ‘Leadership and Communication in Crisis’ among the panel of Moon Pradhan, DTM, Bhanu Dabadi, DTM and Toastmaster Avish Acharya who shed light on how effective leadership and communication can help shape the future course of development sector, academic sector and banking sector respectively. During the event the Club Growth Director of District 41, Toastmasters International that serves clubs of Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan and India, Ayan Pal, DTM also gave the best regards for the success of this event through his video speech.
